Everything about Fox Valley Lutheran High School totally explained

Fox Valley Lutheran High School (FVLHS) is a Lutheran high school located in Appleton, Wisconsin. The school is owned and operated by a Federation of 40 Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) churches across the Fox River Valley area. It is a member of the FVL Schools system.
When the school was founded in 1953, it began classes with only 8 students in a school building rented from the Appleton School District. By the mid-1950's, enrollment had grown dramatically and the school relocated to its own building at 2626 N. Oneida Street. In 2000, FVL's new 63-acre campus opened on its current site: 5300 N. Meade Street. (The Oneida Street campus is now St. Joseph Catholic Middle School.)
Mr. Paul Hartwig is the current principal. Since relocating to the Meade Street campus, school enrollment has averaged over 600.
The school colors are maroon and gray and the team name is the Foxes.

School programs

FVLHS offers educational programs to prepare students for college, ministry, and the workforce. Over 85 percent of FVL graduates seek to continue their education on the college or technical college level. A guided studies program is also offered for students whose achievement level is at least two grade levels below their peers.
FVLHS is one of only a handful of high schools in Wisconsin that's licensed to accept I-20 international students. In 2007, over 35 international students were enrolled at the school. Countries represented include Spain, China, Korea, Germany, Mexico, South Africa, and more.
FVLHS is a member of the Eastern Valley Conference of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA). Interscholastic competition is offered for boys in football, soccer, cross country, golf, tennis, basketball, hockey (co-op team with Xavier and St. Mary Central High School), track, and wrestling. Girls compete in volleyball, soccer, cross country, golf, tennis, basketball, track, dance, and cheerleading. The football team was the winner of WIAA Division 3 Championship in 2001.
Cocurricular offerings available to the students include the Math Club, Forensics team, Battle of the Books competition, Choraliers (swing choir), FVL Theatre, Library Assistants, Mock Trial, Jazz Band, Pep Band, Light/Sound Crew, School Yearbook, Handbell, Choir, Art Club, Quiz Wizards, STOP Group (AODA awareness), Student Council, National Honor Society, Hmong Saturday School volunteers, Jesus Cares Ministry Team, and the Fox Folk Marionette Troupe.
